Eames plastic chair, DSW (Dining-height, Side-chair, Wooden Base) was originally designed in 1950 by the husband and wife team of Ray and Charles Eames. Considered to be some of America’s most influential designers, their range of plastic molded chairs have become design icons.
The base of the Eames DSW Side Chair is made from solid maple wood, with steel supports reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel base is a recurring theme throughout the Eames’ range of molded plastic chairs. The chair is perfectly molded to the human form and features an elegant waterfall edge.
